Focus Flow is made and published by Xiron Studio ("we", "us"). These terms are the agreement between you and Xiron Studio for using the Focus Flow Android app and this website. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you don't, don't install it — and if you've already paid, ask Google Play for a refund.
Questions, complaints and refund problems: support@xiron.studio. A human answers.
You must be 18 or older to use Focus Flow. If you're younger than that, you'll need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms and to hold the Google account that pays for anything.
You also need to be allowed to enter a contract where you live, and not barred from using the app under the laws that apply to you.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run Focus Flow on devices you own or control, for your own use. The app stays ours: the licence is permission to use it, not a sale of it.
Please don't:
If you break these rules we may stop your access to the server-backed parts of the app — in practice, Task Sizer.
Focus Flow is free to install and the timer, waves, brain dump, blocking and the last seven days of history work without paying. Pro is an in-app upgrade that opens the rest — full history and CSV export, the mid-block nudge and weekly recap, custom wave length, and Task Sizer past the free breakdowns.
Task Sizer runs on a server we pay for per request, so it carries a fair-use daily cap even on Pro. The cap exists to stop one install spending everyone else's budget; it is not a reason to hold back normal use. If a change to the free/Pro split would take away something you already paid for, we'll say so before it ships.
Pro is tied to your Google account, not to us. There is no Focus Flow account. Your purchase lives with Google Play, so it follows that account onto a new phone — reinstall, then Settings → Unlock Focus Flow Pro → Restore.
Every payment goes through Google Play Billing. We never see or handle your card. Prices shown in the app come live from Google Play in your own currency and include whatever tax Google applies for your country.
| Plan | How it bills | How it ends |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | Charged each month to your Google account, automatically, until you stop it. | Cancel in Google Play. Pro keeps working to the end of the period you already paid for. |
| Annual | Charged once a year, automatically, until you stop it. | Same — cancel in Google Play, and Pro runs to the end of the paid year. |
| Lifetime | One payment. Nothing renews, nothing recurs. | Nothing to cancel. "Lifetime" means the working life of the app, not a promise that it runs forever. |
Subscriptions renew until you cancel them, and only you can: Google Play → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not cancel anything. Cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date, which is how Google's own timing works.
Refunds are Google's to give — they took the payment. Ask through Google Play's refund flow, or write to us and we'll back your request where it's fair. Nothing here removes rights you have by law, including the statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase in the UK, the EU and other places that grant one.
We may change prices. A new price only affects a renewal after Google has given you the notice its rules require, and you can cancel before it takes effect. A lifetime purchase already made is never re-charged.
When you ask Task Sizer to break something down, the text you hand it goes to our server and on to an AI model provider, which writes the step list. That is a generated guess, not advice. It can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently silly. Read it before you act on it, and never rely on it for anything medical, legal, financial or safety-critical.
The text you type stays yours. You give us permission to send it and store it briefly only so the feature can answer that request. If there is no connection, or the server is down, the app falls back to a rough split done on your phone — clearly a fallback, not the same thing.
The privacy policy spells out exactly what is sent and what is kept.
Drift Interceptor covers an app you reached for with a Focus Flow screen. To do that it needs "display over other apps" and usage access, which you grant yourself and can revoke at any time.
Focus Flow is a timer, not a safety system. Don't use it where a missed or late notification would cause harm.
Your sessions, notes, step lists and settings are yours, and they live on your phone. We don't claim ownership of anything you write. Because it is stored on the device, keeping it is up to you: uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it, and we have no copy to restore. Pro users can export session history as a CSV from the Patterns screen.
What data goes where is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Focus Flow is designed around how ADHD brains handle time, and it is a productivity tool — nothing more. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.
We keep changing the app: features arrive, features get reworked, and occasionally one is retired. We may change or stop the server-backed parts, including Task Sizer, with reasonable notice where we can give it. If we shut down a paid feature permanently while your subscription is running, tell us and we'll sort out a fair refund of the unused part.
Server parts can be down. We don't promise a particular uptime. The timer, your history and your settings keep working offline regardless.
You can end this agreement any time by uninstalling the app (cancel any subscription separately, in Google Play). We can end it if you break section 03, or if we stop publishing the app.
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited — and if you're a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this page says.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost time, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is capped at what you actually paid us for Focus Flow in the twelve months before the claim.
The app relies on services run by other companies — Google Play for distribution and billing, Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, RevenueCat for purchase checks, Supabase and an AI model provider for Task Sizer, Google Fonts for typefaces, and your phone's own speech recognition. Their terms apply to their part of it, and we are not responsible for how they run their services.
Google Play's own terms sit alongside these ones for anything you buy there.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, or your right to bring a claim there.
If these terms change, this page changes and the "last updated" date at the top moves. Material changes will be flagged in the app before they take effect. Carrying on using Focus Flow after that means you accept the new version; if you don't, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
